Bendi does the research, so you don’t have to.

Bendi does the research, so you don’t have to.

Bendi’s research methodology has been designed in collaboration with Professor Chee Yew Wong, Chair of Supply Chain Management at Leeds University Business School (UK).

Bendi’s work is informed by core international labour standards as defined by the International Labour Organisation and the Better Work Global Compliance Assessment Tool.

We have conducted a detailed literature review to create an internal thesis on the root causes of labour exploitation which is the basis for our assessment of labour risks in supply chains. Bendi’s literature review of environment-related risks is ongoing. Numerous expert conversations feed into this work and help us to refine our methodology and approach.

To guide our quantitative and qualitative assessment of risk sources, Bendi has developed a robust evaluation framework which assesses sources of risk against a number of different criteria. These criteria include source reliability, source credibility and source certainty. This framework is a living document which continues to evolve.

Our work is informed by an international network of experts who hold leadership positions in industry, sustainability, NGOs and labour rights movements globally.
